Green Acres climate-controlled bays are not standard self-storage units with a window unit bolted to the wall. Each unit has a dedicated ductless mini-split HVAC system — independent heating and cooling — inside a full 20×50 warehouse bay with a 12-foot automatic overhead door and 16-foot ceilings.
You get the same drive-up access, electricity, and insulated walls as our standard bays, plus consistent temperature and humidity control year-round. On the Eastern Shore, that matters — summers are hot and humid, and winters can get cold enough to damage sensitive inventory or equipment.
Eastern Shore summers routinely hit 90°F+ with high humidity. Standard storage units can reach 120°F inside. If your inventory, equipment, or materials are temperature-sensitive, a climate-controlled bay is the right call.
